So, I did the whole setting up the router and all at 1:00, but in reality her main problem was that her phones had no filters for the DSL line. Hummm. And why is that, one asks oneself? Who knows. Also her G type router was quite far away from the Mac so she was getting all of one tiny signal bar, which couldn't have been helping. So the N style router gave her full signal bars which should be an improvement. Also found she only had 1GB of RAM so I sold her another 512 because I have a whole freaking bag of them. No really. Then went to the neighbors and that was that. 

 

Then went over to paint. Got there at 3:00 (it was in Victor, so it took me a half hour just to get there) and left at 5:30. Knew that one part was going to be the worst- I had to cut a fence off a tree that was growing there, cut a small one down, move the so called berry bush out of the way, and of course trying to paint around the trees isn't easy. It must be a different kind of wood or something, it doesn't look as nice as the part closer to the driveway for some reason. So it'll probably have to be done again. And I need a taller ladder to get the upper two slats done. But I did what I could and started the back too, which I also did whatever I could reach without a ladder.

 

Five calls today, one from yesterday I didn't reach, a guy who found the power cord to the external he dropped off, a possibly dead external hard drive, stupid Durable Medical in LeRoy and one other. Well, I guess I have to take what I can get.

 

And I'm getting some berries! Not many ripe yet, but in a couple of days there will be tons. Pie time!

 

Probably won't do any painting tomorrow, if I reach all those jokers, but of course there's Grandma to see and a Demongate High game to play at Sean's so I won't be getting into trouble.
