Just so you know, I didn't design this
Work Shop Rochester NY Website, but I did implement it, so there. I guess neither one of us has any design skills. Oh well.
Anyway, got that done yesterday, along with one other job. I now have 14 pages of the Carlita's Tale done, which I guess actually isn't that much. Huh.
Then we finished Reach on legendary and collected our 125 gamer points, thank you very much. Also another few for keeping the tank alive through a certain stage.
My garage door is kind of broken. I noticed it didn't want to stop anymore at the top, which is a problem. Then I noticed a wheel had broken, the topmost right side wheel. Then I realized the spring on the left side busted too, so the pulley came off. Did someone hit it with an aging spell or something? Sheesh. So won't be using it much until it gets fixed/replaced.
Pretty busy today, nothing all that hard though.
Just a checkup first thing. And making sure to take the auto-renewal off the Norton account, so I've saved yet another soul the agony of using Norton.
Then a laptop that I just set up, that somehow lost the wireless, and of course the guy was too clueless to click "connect" where I told him to over the phone. Sigh.
Then setting up a wireless printer, which wasn't going so well even though we figured out the password. Turns out some nut had turned MAC address filtering on, thanks a lot. Honestly, there's adequate and there's going too far, you know?
Finally figured that out and fixed it.
Lastly to see the lady with the screen that had the loose power plug. Yup, I went through 5 years of collage and that's what I'm reduced to. Don't make my mistakes kids.
Make your own.
Got handed the replacement PC by UPS a little while ago. Supposedly a Vista PC, but it had XP on it, so more work for me, thanks. She wasn't free tomorrow so I'll deliver it friday.
As far as tomorrow goes, the original plan was to help move Sean's books and things out of his old garage in the morning, but now it's been moved to the afternoon. Oh well, it was only Jerry I would have done, he can wait. Watch, I'll get a ton of calls tomorrow for some reason.
Finished the last Heather book, now onto Prophecy by Elizabeth Haydon. Still as good as the first one, and I wrote up a new Inheritor for Demongate High based on Ashe, which is all good.
Nice out today. Well, not warm enough, but nice.
Sent the faulty motherboard people another note, waited 24 hours, then filled a dispute on the ebay system. Within minutes I had my money back. Huh. I then mailed them again asking if they wanted the broken board back, and again, no response. So I ordered another. I've given her one of my crappy systems around here in the meantime.
Found a job for Grandma, sorting all my perler beads so the same colors are together. That should take her awhile.
One last thing, grammatical butchery:
