2011-05-08:
But oh, how glorious to see it once again, and for maybe more then two days in a row.
Here are the highlights of the weekend area.
Work is still boring. I did some yard work at Grandma's to help pass the time.
Game at Sean's on friday and another yummy dinner by Mizzy. We continued the adventures of our future heroes in Perfect Horizon and we rescued an angel! No really, she was on top of a church and everything. She's probably some person's android sex toy or something, there were a lot of guys there trying to kill her or get her back or what not. I was quite careful to only strike arms holding weapons because, honestly, maybe they are the good guys and the angel looking creature is bad, what do I know? I just want them to stop shooting the place up and explain themselves. But Neal just shot everybody up, so much for that idea. What are we going to do with you? Got home pretty late.
Saturday I had a call to answer at 11:00 so I got up at 10:50, could have used some more sleep, but then she didn't call. I called her at 11:20ish and she was like, "I was just about to call you." But I got her straightened out, again. Sean wanted some help at the old house so I called him after that, he said he was going to eat lunch and then head over there. I did the same, and actually beat him there. Mizzy painted, he cut the grass and I unboxed books. I mean lots and lots of old Tremorworks books. Which are, sadly, destined for recycling. They take up a small but significant portion of his garage and he's taking them to be recycled rather then move them to the new house. The cards and ElementaliS game will probably be chucked. *sigh* Then we went out for ice cream, had yummy hamburgers at his place and watched some episodes of Reboot. We also played the extra two chapters of Army of Two and Sean let me get the achievement for the other choice in the main story line. What a guy! He said it probably wasn't what I wanted to be doing on a Saturday. Shows what he knows!
Today was even more "fun" as I finished getting rid of the dead Ivy around the house. Had a few calls over the weekend, but nothing great. Only have two for tomorrow, a laptop to pick up and something at 4:30. Oh, and a dentist appointment at 11:10. And one for Thursday, big deal. So it'll be shopping as usual, dentist, over to pick up laptop, home, work on that, then out, then back.
So I'll probably wind up doing more work at Grandma's this week, getting things ready to paint. Should be a blast. My mother's day gift is helping Friday clean out the garage. It shows I care!
Watched the new Dr Who for this week today, it was okay, but I think the next one will be better.
It's fine, you're doing fine. Just stay calm!
