Really, pretty boring today. My morning one was interesting. Not booting at all, right? So I start tearing it apart, and it'll boot, sorta, if I take the floppy drive out. (it's a W2k machine) Huh. But then it hangs almost right away. So then I replaced the processor, and it was fine. So that's a power supply, a processor and the floppy drive in the space of a month. Time for a new machine, people.
Came back home, did a little programming, got the speech bubble to insert itself into the main document. Then Randy called about his machine not booting, so I figured I would go over there. So I did. I'm not sure if it was the virus infecting some intelsomething.sys file or the graphics driver but either way, that was taken care of too.
Started to get a ton of calls late in the day, so I have 5 for tomorrow. One guy is so cute, it's 8:45, he calls me, "how's your schedule for tomorrow?" Uh, no? So I gave him the whole hour I have between #2 and #3 and hope everything works out okay before that. Dummy.
Played more FF8, read more Hero of Ages, and I guess that's another one gone.
