2011-02-17:

Did a lot of back and forth today. Got gas and found a receipt sticking out of the machine. Guy bought 9 gallons gas ($30) and 2 packs of Cigarettes for $18.50. Well, plus tax, $1.48 = $19.99. So he paid almost as much to get himself from place to place as he did to slowly kill himself. Nicely done. People still smoke in this day and age... why? The health effects of smoking are well known. Of course, so are the health benefits of regular exercise, and *crickets chirping*

So the morning one in victor took as long to drive to/back as it did to resolve, so I guess that's a win. Just a clean out, and "yeah, it's a 6 year old Pentium 4, it's slow." sort of deal. Then at one some questions answered. Her printer lights were just flashing away like crazy, I pulled the plug and it was fine again. RR lite is, to put it in one word, crap! She was getting .45 Mbps download. Oh, okay, I guess that's better then dial-up? Sorta?

Then home. I built the adapter to turn the large fan hole into a pipe. I know, I know, I said no more talk about that until the panel comes, sue me!

I had just forgotten this needed to be done, or thought I could do it when the panel arrived or something, but figured I might as well.

With all the melting I also cleared a path to where it's going to go, and set the table up where it's going to sit.

Then over to a lady in the future. No really, the year 2099 doesn't look much different from 2011 you know? Odd how she was still using AOL 9.5, I guess some people just can't let go. She looked pretty good for being almost 200 years old.

Or maybe her date was just wrong? But that wrong? How?

Then at 5:00, out to set up a new laptop.

I had fears that I would need to go out again, "oh, can you come after five" but she called and said it was fine.

So I won New Vegas instead. Can finally get that back to Mizzy. Who is going to Buffalo on Saturday even though the test isn't until the 23rd? Huh?

Only two calls, one who said "yeah, call me sunday" as she "was not available" tonight and one person for saturday... at 6:00pm. *sigh* but with no game this week, I suppose I might as well just work. Especially as I have none for tomorrow. Guess I'll program some more.

Will the panel really make it here from Grove City, OH at 4:44 PM to here in a day? That's a 6 hour journey. I suppose they have trucks running all night?

Tomorrow will be Harry Potter (without methods of rationality) at 7:50 with mom/pop so no entry then, not that there usually is.
