2010-11-08:
Very busy day today. Went shopping of course. Got my filter and a dollar off some crunchy cat food. Woohoo. Got a book and two comics out, finished the comics. I remember doing that.
The first one was a tuneup, nothing too major. Then I dropped the laptop off. Fine. Then over to a virus removal that took pretty much no time at all. My next one was at 4:00 but I said, okay, instead of that, let's go over there now, finish that off right quick, (it was at that point about 2:30) then do my leaves, go over to grandma's leaves, then to the 7:00, then dinner after calls. Well, the first part of the plan went fine, he was there so I went over. Somehow he threw away half his applications folder! Luckily I knew of a program called Pacifist that would open the OS X DVD and extract the missing programs, so I didn't have to reload the whole machine. Dummy.
So that took me longer then I thought, the program was pretty slow, and he had messed some other things up. When I got home it was about 4:00 so I mowed my leaves up. That took longer then I thought because I haven't been able to do it because of the rain so there were more down then I wanted. I got about a row and a half done before the bag needed changing. Sheesh. But they all got put out front. So now it's quarter to five and getting kind of dark. So I figure I'll eat a quick dinner, which I do, and of course when I'm done it's pretty dark out. So much for grandma's leaves. Knew there was another reason I hated winter, it gets dark so freaking early. I hate driving in the dark. At least I have the GPS now so I can more easily see the street names. Anyway, with tuesday booked already I put her down for wednesday afternoon, hope the nice weather holds.
So while I waited I did my paperwork for last month, just as thrilling as I expected, love putting that 20% away!
So I then go to my 7:00, which is nothing too great, but get home and have a whole twenty minutes to make phone calls. Great! So I book wednesday, even one after I do the leaves, he's right down the street. Phone calls done about 9:10.
