Rocky's been good, he looks a bit silly with his missing fur though. A dog with allergies? What the heck? He's not scratching at them, so they can't itch or anything. Just wish there was something more I could do, but they'll clear up.
Let's see, yesterday I got all the systems checked over. One was dead, one was salvageable. The 850Mhz one went right out. The one PIII I'll keep as a spare in case my phone system machine goes away. And there's one crappy 450Mhz machine with XP loaded. Not sure what do to with that one. Tossed a system I've had down there quite a while and looked at the pieces of Heather's system. It'll cost a bit to put it all back together, I fear.
I did do something though, maybe gave a laptop back? Hum.
Today I went over in the morning to feed all of Mom's pets. From the time I got up to finished- two hours. It was funny, I woke up an hour early to claws clacking around as Rocky was pacing. So I let him out. So I went to bed an hour early thinking I would then get up an hour earlier then normal and that would be that. But he again woke me up an hour early! AArg! (or two hours earlier then normal for those keeping track at home) Reloaded a laptop to try and get some odd problems out of a system. Also installed a video card here. That was, as usual, windows being stupid. It has two ports, a VGA port and a DVI port. So I plug into the VGA port. But it just won't switch over to it. So ultimately I gave him a DVI to VGA adapter I had laying there and said, I'm tried of fighting to make it work, here.
Tuesday only did two jobs, moving the machines for the envelope place, took about 4 hours, and replaced the HD in one for another guy. No trouble there. The moving went fine, just a few minor issues to deal with.
And we're back to monday with my stupid 100% cpu usage ghost machine, a power supply replacement, and setting up the new iMac.
Tomorrow, two jobs in the afternoon and visiting grandma. Of course seeing the cats and birds in the morning.
