At least today. The plan was, mow lawn, disassemble projector, play borderlands, clean, play FF7. Done!
See, Sean bought a projector. It didn't last long, before it wouldn't turn on anymore. Then he bought a second one, which started to have this sort of blue hue pervading the image. Honestly, you don't notice it. But as he's... Sean, this was unacceptable. So at his garage sale he offered them both for $50. A lady was coming to get them. She never showed. So I said, "heck, fifty bucks, I'll take them!" Because I don't care about a bit of blue. I took the one apart, just to see what it would take to swap the power supplies (as my first one died in this way and that's what the person I talked to said it was) but it's not easy to get apart... and back together. So I left it disassembled and in the "project room". The other one, however, I took down in the basement, set on top of a wastebasket next to me, stretched a light blue bed sheet across the wall, and had a blast playing FF7! Silly Sean! I didn't like it when the playstation was up here, because the projector I have up here throws a much too huge image for SD resolution. But having it right there next to me was perfect. So I might leave it there for that. The plan is that, once the bulb in this one dies, just replace this projector with that one, which seems a good deal to me.
Game went... eh. Mizzy was playing up her "fear of dark things/dark elves" which meant she skipped the whole "playing" you know, that's the point? I don't know about that girl sometimes. But we beat up some trolls, and got into the weird stone building that seems to have the crystal in it.
Otherwise on saturday I worked on installing the new HD for Vaio guy, and maybe some more video game stuff? Hummm, I wonder. Right, we did win War For Cybertron, and Sean got me a couple other achievements. Thanks!
Friday was Heather's Birthday (celebrated), I did do a job or two before that. Picked some berries. Or was that Saturday?
Couple of calls this weekend, I do have two for tomorrow, and possibly a third if she's around. Just loading up a new wireless card, their equipment is ancient.
Next Saturday is the Transformers Convention! Get to see all the outrageous prices they want for stuff. But it was fun last year, so it hopefully will be again.
