2010-06-27:
Now, I do.
So how was the weekend? Friday morning was a regular old cleanout, nothing too difficult. She had this very cool and probably old sterling silver cauldron. It has a lion's head motif on the legs, and she was using it to hold a couple of pens in. It was sooooo cool.
Then in the afternoon I went over to give a guy his replacement wireless adapter, which BSODed when I was taking the old adapter away. Sweet! But it installed and got on, so I guess it's fine. Then I went over to the hotel. Got roped into more then I planned for, but that was fine because grandma's weeding was then I expected, so it didn't take me too long.
Then it was over to Sean's to run the next DgH game. I think it went well, took longer then I thought, which is a good thing, I was afraid it would be an open and shut thing and over in an hour. HA. The hardest thing about running a Role Playing game is the RP part, making sure there's opportunity for the characters to, you know, Play the Role? D&D had this easy because it's a combat oriented game. At least, it was in the beginning, I guess? I don't really know. I suppose you could run it any way you wanted. Anyway, what do I know? I did get to meet his new dog, she's a 6 year old German Shepard, loves to fetch, very friendly, stole my pizza right off my plate. Needs a bit of obedience training.... :-(
Saturday was just the one, she wanted help deciding on an XM radio setup. I suggested just wireless speakers and internet radio, but whatever. Finally found a unit that had all the features and was the size she wanted. She was also complaining her wireless kept dropping, but it didn't even once while I was there, so I wasn't sure what to do there.
I did go back over to Sean's, since I didn't last week. We watched the rest of Bubblegum Crash, played San Marko, and then Marvel Alliance. So fun was had by all. Got a check back, one written by a law office, for $108 because she dated it 2011. I guess I AM living in the future! So I get to go and get that taken care of tomorrow.
Today was comic book day, Sean gave me a stack of Transformers comics I read though. And the latest version of the demongate high book.
