I had gotten a call last night that the lady I saw yesterday with the miscommunication had the BSOD back. Great. So I went out. My first one was just to load 10.6 on a 10.5 machine as apparently some program she wanted to use required it. Huh, didn't think there were any new frameworks introduced in 10.6, just cleaning up the old ones. Oh well. Went fine, answered some questions. Done. Got to my 12:30 a bit early. Cleanout. He had a backup drive, which hadn't actually worked in like eight months. When time machine can't backup for two weeks it starts complaining at you. PC programs are great! I went over to BSOD lady because I remembered where she was and it wasn't far, but only the dogs were home and they didn't want to let me in, despite all the tail wagging that went on. So I came home. There were 4 PCs on my breezeway when I left, there were none when I returned. yay! Got my new flash drive, very Silverstreak, I like it. Moved everything over to it and had some time, so I thought I would try the more up to date procedure for loading OS X on my MacBook Macro. Glad I did! It worked pretty much without a hitch, and I finally can sleep it without it spazing when it wakes up, and the 16GB SDHC card is recognized! Sweet. Oh yeah, and two finger drags work to scroll and two finger taps are a right click, just like on a real MacBook. The double click speed I can't seem to get right *shrug* but it's amazing to see OS X running darn near perfect on this little guy. Also did two records while I was working on that. Ate dinner, had a couple of phone calls, but tomorrow will kinda suck, just going back to BSOD lady (for no $$), dropping off the 20GB HD I forgot to set atop one of the four machines, and go see what crazy AOL problem a lady is having. Probably do a bunch of records in the morning, as I've been neglecting them this week. (can't say way) Sean comes back in two days, Morie is doing just fine. That reminds me I need to give him his snack for tonight. Gonna go do that now!
