*Nervous laugh* So, today... Oh, all right, if you must know. Didn't have too much work yesterday, so I did my paperwork so I could get my annual filing in. I'm inching closer to the $3000 mark, meaning I won't be able to file annually anymore. Shoot. My recent rate increase will probably put me over the top. Ah well. Of course, it's only another .80 per customer, so maybe not. Watched the last of Supernatural, did one job at 5:30, setting up a new system. At 1:00 I had to go remove Vundo from a place I had been. I researched it before hand, so it only took a couple of minutes. Worked on some systems that had been dropped off here, they're like weeds, I would get one done, and another would show up! Today was busier. My 9:30 I need to order a CD-RW for, their tray was stuck shut too. I didn't even try to take it apart, I learn from my mistakes. Not quickly, but I do. Otherwise, cleaning out two. Their one hard drive was nearly full, and by full, I mean it had 800Mb free left on it. Gee, wonder why it ran so slow? Over to... another cleanout. Funny how that works. Also sold her one of the copious 256 chips I have lying around now. Standard stuff. Then over the Wheelers, got their new iPod touch set up, make sure things were up to date. That sort of thing. Had about an hour and a half, came home. Redid Carlita's character sheet with her combined form I've named Nagita, for obvious reasons. Her fused form is very, very temporary (like, maybe 30 seconds if I roll really well) but she can run at 108kph, is 1.5x stronger then the strongest human, and can probably hit 10 things in five seconds, given her swinging of the (13meter long) whip she carries takes 1/10 of a second. Maybe fighting Metatron won't be so bad after all? Anyway, left again, went to go give bad news to the Christs. However, I was misinformed/mislead because I thought the machine was giving an error message on boot. Turns out it was just not doing anything. Thusly did I vacuum it out (it was really, really bad) and reseat the processor. Lo did it come back to life! So we signed her up for iDrive, the "cloud" backup service, and did rejoice that he wasn't completely dead so what was he doing in a coffin? Came back home. Ate dinner. (Riveting stuff, I know) Looked at yet another dropped off system, and a laptop with a dead hard drive. Ordered replacement and two CD drives. Realized thirty seconds after I put the order in I buggered it up and ordered SATA drives, you titmouse! Hastily canceled the order, and placed the exact same order, minus two SATA dvd-rw drives and plus two PATA drd-rw drives. Answered the several calls I had, booked two for tomorrow. Haven't played any Bioshock this week, think that's what I'm off to do now. This little girl made me do it!
