The trouble is, it's just a bigger iPod. Never once have I thought to myself, gee, I wish I had a bigger iPod. But many times I've thought, Gee, I wish I had a smaller notebook. And people seem to agree, why do you think there's so much interest in making Mac OS X run on netbooks? Initial reaction seems muted, with indications of negativity and scoffing coming from the west, while a front pushes through tomorrow bringing colder temperatures and a bit of snow along the 104 corridor. Wait, that got away from me. Sorry. Rebooting. You must be asking yourself, Self, did Robert accomplish anything today? And the answer is yes, yes I did. I think. Maybe. My first call of the day was the sandblasting place telling me they had not only moved, they were closed by the time I was going to get there. Who closes at 3:30 in the afternoon? Weird. So I called them back and set it up for first thing tomorrow. First job was a plain old clean out. Nothing too bad, was out in the hour I needed to be out in. Then... another clean out! Amazing! Her's was further gone though, had to do some tricky wicky with my Linux boot disk in the beginning. That reminds me, is there a newer version of Ubuntu out? I'll have to look! Guess not. Anyway, was a bit late to my 1:00 because she wanted a couple more things done after I was "finished". No big deal. #3 was putting the machine her brother's displaced back (which was now, again, BSOD) and getting it semi working again. With my 3:30 now canceled I came back home. Called a guy down the street but he wasn't there. So I did a bit more secret project instead. Wish this one came with instructions. Sigh. Ate dinner, made my phone calls for tonight and booked tomorrow. Getting ready to do it all again tomorrow now. Maybe play some Tales, who knows.
