So in the morning I went to see Bert, recall I was having all that trouble before the holiday trying to install quickbooks. Well, lo and behold, today it decided it was going to play nice and went through right away. Thanks a bunch. But I did have to install it on another as someone opened a company file another person still using 2009 was using, and then they couldn't open it. So, great. Dropped off the laptop. Came back home and wondered what to do now. Ah ha I thought, there was one line busy last night. So she was there, and only about ten minutes away (good weather) so I went over there. More quirkbooks... I mean quickbooks stuff. First some networking issues, taken care of. Stupid norton firewall. But then she wanted to do some quickbooks things I was not conversant in, so I was there way longer then I expected. Which was fine because she was funny, used the word "prat" correctly, and was a total looker! *sigh* So I just made it to my 6:30 to drop off the other system. Done! When I arrived home I only had four calls, but I got like another five at night. Ugh. My week is filling up fast again, and it's only tuesday. Made calls, then ate dinner. Took care of the sprawling number of dishes on the counter *blush* and got ready for tomorrow. Came up with the redesign of the iPod HDL program on the way back home from Bert's. Just have to find out if I can make it work the way I want.
