2009-11-30:
Pretty standard day today, all told. Shopping in the morning of course. Didn't go to the library, haven't finished my current book and Sean gave me four manga to read so I'm set. I did buy more invoice forms and crunchy cat food though! My first one was just a busted mouse, at least to start. It would go up and down, but not left to right. So I gave him an optical one instead. Of course, his anti-virus wasn't working, and he only had 256 of RAM so his machine was pathetic, so I got to sell him some memory too. *shakes head* Came home for lunch, set the tree up. Pretty-pretty with all my new LED lights. Of course Squeaker had to climb it a couple of times. And he's already broken four of the little plastic jobs that hold the limbs in. That's more then I've broken in all my years of having it! So I'm kind of angry. These things are antique, I can't replace them. I'll try glueing them. Off to my other one. Her machine had gotten messed up somehow. Her wireless driver was complaining about something bizarre so I reload that. Then her router settings were all funny and I couldn't connect. She's one of the two students I have right now. Both in their seventies. You know what's nice? Actually seeing progress being made in learning something. You know what I don't see? Progress being made in learning something. Came home. Ate dinner. Had a system dropped off to me so I looked at that. I have four scheduled for the next two days, and a couple for next week already? Huh? Tonight I have the wonderful options of working on the comic, doing paperwork, finishing up putting my xmas stuff up, or playing zelda. Which should I choose? And as I sat down to write this, I noticed my outside lights were off. Turned out the plug on my first string had melted and pulled away from the extension cord. So now I have a useless net of LED lights, no extension cord, and no christmas lights lit. Still, can't complain, I could be my sister right now, with her car repair bill! :)
