Well, I was busy then, wasn't I? Anyway, hope you had a good holiday. I did, got to see the family (I see every week anyway) and get christmas decorations out. Some appointments, but as it's been so long I'll just hit the highlights. One cleanout. Another lesson for someone who assured me they would practice but of course didn't. A very dirty case vacuumed out and checked over. Very odd TV settings checked. I was trying to get the aspect ratio right and the setting on the TV menu wasn't doing anything. By accident I hit the # key, yes, they for some bizarre reason they included the * and # keys on the remote control. This made the picture change. I said, "wait, what did I just do?" I figured out it was the # key that was changing it, and that made the picture look right again. Do we really need to make Joe Average worry about what aspect ratio to set his TV at? Can't we have the TV look at the signal and figure it out for itself? We have the technology! And then there was the Mac. Why she just didn't call me first is a question. She took it to Mac Shack, and they gave her some BS story, charged her $45 to upgrade from 10.3 to 10.4 rather then 10.5 which she should have had, didn't include the installation media so if she had a problem she could reload it, and did an "archive and install" which messed up photoshop so I had to reload it. This is a professional shop! I told her to call and demand the media, otherwise call Apple and tell them Mac Shack was pirating their OS. Honestly. Oh boy, I just realized, tomorrow is the last day of November meaning it's paperwork time again! Today I got caught up on the comic, did both pencils and coloring of the two I never did, because of Left4Dead playing and whatnot. Then I watched the entire next season of The Sarah Jane Smith Adventures. It even had The Doctor in one episode! Should I get my christmas stuff out now? Hummm.... Several calls today, so I have a couple spread out over the next week. Two for tomorrow. Also this week hope to get started on Mizzy's gift (as it's basically the last thing) and get to wrapping. Doesn't look like too much snow in the forecast, which is all to the good.
