Also, nothing took me more then a half hour. What excitement. So in the morning was a guy who couldn't get online with IE. But he was online, as his outlook was working. So, I figured the easiest thing to do was upgrade him to IE8 and see if that helped. It did. I also gave him firefox and suggested he use that. I suggest you use that too. Unless you use a Mac, then it doesn't really matter what you browse with. Whatever browser you use , you are awesome. It's a guaranteed fact, you can say you read it here. Next up was setting up the remote. A thrill a minute to be sure. His channel up button was hard to press, so they sent him a new one. Luckily, the old remote would flash the code needed to control stuff if you asked it nicely. So I didn't have to try a billion codes to find the right one. Thank you person that created that feature, you are my new best-friend--in-the-whole-of-today-thaI-never-even-met. Last up was reloading the G5 for that musician awhile back. He took awhile to get ahold of, too. But he got his data back, which was the important thing, and the install went smoothly, so he's back in action again. In between these islands of mediocrity was... checking my websites. Lunch. Still some leaves on the trees around here (and tons over at grandma's) so no more raking yet. My neighbor was having some limb cutting done. Tree limbs, I mean. He wasn't out there in the yard having his legs hacked off. That would have been quite pain-y and scream-y, and I rather frown on those sort of noisy activities. Tonight, being on my own like my enemy, the hideous shark, I colored that comic from yesterday, watched two episodes of The Outer Limits, and I think perhaps I'll pick Halo back up where I left off. Oh, I just remembered, I stopped because I'm at the point where I'm following the monitor around and the flood keeps attacking me. I can never get through that part. Well, maybe I'll do something else. Hope Mizzy passed her test today. I was right down the street from her, and I thought about dropping in to see if she was doing okay, or totally stressing out, or what not, but I thought that might be seen as more creepy then sweet, so I scrapped that plan. I have 7 calls in the queue right now. Seven. And still two more days to go before I return calls again. So who knows how many I'll have by Sunday. But I suppose that's good, so I'll take those seven calls all the way to the bank. Two for tomorrow, then Sean's, so no blog. I know, do your best, soon again my words will illuminate the dark spaces of your soul and lift you up... ...up and away, in my beautiful balloon.
