Today, I mean. And perhaps myself as well, one never knows. Tried calling the hotel a couple of times, but either my contact wasn't in or she doesn't check her voice mail all day, which I would find strange. Learned not to go over there without calling to get the full story and know she's there, last time no one knew anything about the problem except me knowing something vague about a power supply. So no luck there. Did get a couple of calls, but I was hoping she would call me back so I stayed here. Of the four, two are just questions, but I'll at least have some work for tomorrow. So what was my day today? Shopping, of course, in the morning. Slipped my mind it was a "holiday" so the library was closed. I was going to see if they had any Jane Austin stuff, but because I can't phase through glass, or any solid matter for that matter, (oh, he's a punster all right) I could not gain entrance. But what's this? You are thinking perhaps I made a typo in the above? That perhaps Jane Austin, not being my typical fare in the literary realm (my typical fare being more about young girl Necromancers who are pledged to keep the dead where they belong, in Death, or tiny aliens found living on the surface of a star, or the pun filled Xanth series) that I must have this author confused with someone else. Not so, gentle reader! To explain I shall offer this axiom: "You can't change people, and it's worthless to try." I think of this every time Mizzy tells Sean not to lean back in his chair. What you can do, however, is inspire change, to make a person want to do something different through your example. So perhaps I want to read something I know someone else has read, to try it out, so to speak. And that is what I had my heart set on doing today. To no avail, however, so needs must I try again another day. Also purchased invoice forms, and there is a certain person with a birthday coming up, so perhaps I bought them a card or something. If I did it would probably perfectly reflect my love of puns, be slightly dirty, and carry an in joke the recipient is bound to notice immediately. Oh, and have a slight connection to Halloween as it's almost that Day of Sweets as well. But could one card contain all this? Well, the possible card I may have bought is almost guaranteed to have a 50% chance of doing so. Penciled a comic, and with no job to do, colored it. Watched the end of series three in Dragon Ball Z, finally seeing the end of Freeza, something I've been waiting no small number of years for. Played the Deleted Scene from Gears of War 2 in anticipation of returning it to Mizzy when next I see her. I doubt we'll play it for awhile, now that we're doing the ODST thing. Want to thank her for that, it was nice of her. Now if I can just finish Last Remnant sometime.... *sweatdrop* Already have one for tomorrow, hopefully I'll reach the two people with problems, not questions, and book them so tomorrow is filled up. Current Countdown Number: 6 And what's this? The countdown number has gone down by a measly one! Could it be a count of days? But that's silly, the 18th isn't anything special. Is it? And furthermore, for doing a whole lot of nothing today, it sure seems like I wrote a lot about it.
