2022-05-26:

Fri:
Got the new build, wrote up some fax bugs.
But they say "oh, this is working the way it should be!" Then why was there this big rush rush rush to get results of the global setting then? If it doesn't matter at all? Either it matters, should be tested, and so these are bugs, are it doesn't, should never have been tested, and "working as intended" is right. You can't have it both ways. Stupid.
Recorded how to make the card as the lady wasn't in who wanted to see it and I wanted to get the card "fixed" before the guy did any more testing with it.
Not much else.
Went to the bank, everything was down so couldn't do the IRA deposit. I'll have to go back next week.
Went shopping.
Saw my parents.
Back here and Sean wanted to do more Tina's so we did.

Sat:
Went right out in the morning to do the iMac setup. He actually got the hub he needed. He listened! Wow.
Sadly his CD drive is USB powered and the hub isn't so it doesn't work. He could either get a different one, or a USB-C to USB adapter and plug it in directly. Though honestly he should have digitized all those Cds sitting there ages ago.
Came back here, ate lunch.
Very warm out and humid. When did that happen? It was hardly spring a week ago.
Cut the grass anyway. Did some more weeding. Good news, lots of new berry shoots for next year, at least on the one side of the house. I didn't go over to the really sunny part.
And the grape vine is filling out again so we'll have plenty of tiny grapes.
Pulled many, many weeds. Sheesh. Go away. The back hasn't filled in very much, not hopeful for blackberries yet. What could have happened, I had tons last year. And I didn't cut them or anything they should still be back there.
Cleaned up to go to Sean's.
We cleared the next dungeon even if I almost roasted everybody. Whoops.

Sun:
Did a few things, in no particular order.
Did more weeding in the berries, as it wasn't as sunny and hot today. In fact it got downright cool. Make up your mind! Some new shoots for next year are coming up back there too. Not as many as I would like. Lots of those ground cover plants too, so I keep cutting them back. Still plenty of time to grow so get to it little ones.
Cleaned up around here, vacuumed the floor.
Did a bit of sewing, made a band for my little case so it stops flying open every two seconds.
Played some Tales, got through more dungeons there. The final weapons you get seem to be pretty crappy, looked up why that was. I guess they gain a +1 for every enemy that character finishes off. So they can get better, not that the game tells you this. Seems odd, you're already past the end of the game by that point, do you really need better weapons?
Watched some anime, it's an odd one. There seems to be no motivation given for some of the characters to do what they're doing, like whole episodes expaning things are missing. But they are not. It's pretty short, I'll finish it but it's not really all that well done.
Checked sites, videos.

Mon:
Cold again, so it's back to long sleves after that one summer day.
Found my lunch, my dinner salad, and two other turkey sandwiches in the garbage. Still cold, they must have just been put in there. Thanks!
Had a meeting with Gina, going over some stuff that's coming up soon.
Started an upgrade test to see how repeatable the fax being disabled is.
Finished the latest chapter, started the next.
Ate my huge meatball sub for lunch and the salad for dinner.
Went to the guy with the laptop. It was pretty hung up. I rebooted it and it seemed fine. Ran the update to the latest OS. Seemed fine after that too. 8 year old laptop, but it only took an hour. SSDs for the win.
Got back here, checked sites. Got ready for tomorrow, Sean wanted to do Xbox.

Tues:
Did the upgrade test a bunch of times. No love, it worked every time. Booo.
Not much else work wise, I got a chapter and a half written. I figure about 6 more?
Ken finally got rid of the boxes for the new printers, and said I could toss the 10 base switches in the bin.
He's getting the next batch of scrap machines out of there. Yay.
Went out to see the mac mini guy. His TV was trying to do an eco setting that's why it was dimming. He said it didn't happen with regular TV but the setting is the setting sooooooo. Answered a few other questions.
Came back, checked sites, ate dinner. No calls, got ready for tomorrow and did more Remnant.

Wed:
Ran a few more fax tests, the development team ran into some stuff, but it was mostly working as designed.
Finished the next chapter and started the next.
Found more salad, so I had one of those before I left.
Went over to the mac guy from yesterday. He didn't have a problem, address book entries without an email address show as grayed out. Uh oh! Alert the press!
Checked good will, got nothing at all.
Came back here, checked sites.
Went around looking at lore, upgraded my stuff in the game, but didn't go anywhere.

Thurs:
Meeting day, and had more than a few more than normal.
Did a little more fax testing. Handed the cards over we got in.
No Joe meeting, but we had an EIP fax demo, a meeting about the new fax app added to copy add when logging in copy only, another meeting with the guy doing the on premise one dive, and the usual status meeting. Neat.

Checked the plants, no food today, ate the salad from yesterday.

Finished the next chapter, did not start the next one. It's going to be a combat with 4 celestials. They're basically human on earth though, should be fine.

Went to see password lady. Don't know what she was doing, but it looked like she was trying to recover her account password. I could use ctrl-alt-del and log her out though despite not being able to go "back" and logged her in because she's a local user, not that stupid MS account user. Have no idea what she was doing. Also showed her email and bank website worked just fine. Petted her pup and come home.

Checked sites, got ready for tomorrow. One call. She just needed her wireless switch flipped. Can we finally do away with that "feature?" Maybe it's already gone, this is an older refurb machine so....

Let's look to the future. I think I have another meeting tomorrow about some topic or another. Not sure what else I'll do. Then I'll go to the bank, hopefully they won't be down and I can move money to my IRA. Then shopping, and seeing my parents.

Game? There was some talk about maybe doing more Miracle stuff this week? Nothing else was said. I should ask about that. And there is. Okay.

A few things to do over the weekend. The weeding I like to do (like is a strong word) Oh, oh, tiny flowers on the berry bushes. And a bee! And cutting the back lawn. That's all I have planned so far. Oh, make Ice Cream! I have Monday off, I want to write the combat if I haven't done it by then. Try to finish up Tales. That sort of thing. Enjoy it if you have it off too!
