Whatever it is.

So I wrapped up Heather’s present and then forgot I didn’t take any pictures of it, sigh. Made her “card” which I was quite happy with in the end.

Wrote the next chapter of the Carlita Tale, but it’s kind of short so I may go back and fill it out a little. 

Talked to Larry at York, got them straightened out over the phone. Talked to another person, something about losing her sent mail? But it was there, just in another place? Okay.

Updated my little toolbox because I haven’t done that in ages so stuff was getting a little out of date. 

My one job at 6:00 was something I had done before, she has a pathetic hard drive and it was just not cutting it, space wise, so she’s finally broken down and let me order her a larger one. Thank goodness. So I’ll get paid for that one in a couple of days. 

I did mysteriously get a laptop I’ve been working on, it was complaining about missing files, funny, the Ubuntu I put on there previously? works perfectly. I’ve tried a chkdsk and now a “repair” and it’s sorta booting? Maybe? So it still needs some work, which is fine. Now it’s giving me some “activation” crap, I really, really hate windows.

Two for tomorrow, how will I cope? One for Saturday too. One hard drive that seems dead, as the behavior seems to suggest, and the other “some little things” is all I wrote down, so should be interesting.
