If you're thinking of crisping up some potato slices in your microwave and then saving them, perhaps as a potato chip replacement...
don't.
They become disgusting rather quickly. And by disgusting I mean kind of chewy and flavorless. Don't say I never gave you any good advice. Because I did. So there.
Saw an Oreo clone today, a cute little kitten who thought playing with the ethernet cable I was trying to wrap up was lots of fun!
Both today and yesterday were quite busy, thank you very much oh my dispatcher in the sky. Today I upgraded a 10.4 Mac to 10.6. Funny story about that, we set the appointment up for today on Sunday. On Monday he called me and said Apple told him he couldn't use it because he didn't have 10.5. Oh, and are you going to sell him 10.5 Apple? No? Well, that's convenient. So I told him to just go back there, and buy it already.
AARG. Honestly, you suck sometimes Apple. I mean, what's with all the lies?
Also had the "privilege" of using a 400Mhz G4 tower with 192MB of RAM. WOOHOO! That was painful. At least she has an excuse. She said her husband had been in a nursing home for 11 years and she had been out of work for three. Which I thought was a bit odd, her daughter (who was really cute by the way) couldn't have been 20 and she wasn't that old. How did she marry such on old guy? And then have a child with him? Weird.
The first one of the day was a regular old clean out. Go Windows!
Yesterday I answered some questions about a new iMac (it's turning into a Mac week here) took a look at some stuff working perfectly and one laptop that was dead. Went to the library, got out the next wheel of time book I had forgotten about for so long, and the normal shopping.
Present wise I've finished a wing and started the second which is going much easier now that I know what I'm doing. I think it'll look really good when it's done. The question is, how do you box and wrap something this... unwieldy? More Voyager watched.
Good amount of work for tomorrow, and I even have two for thursday as well. Whew. You have no idea how relieved this all makes me.
